6.1.1. The Main Idea

To ask someone’s opinion in French, you can use penser, meaning to think.

Qu’est-ce que tu en penses ?	What do you think about it?
Qu’est-ce que vous en pensez ?	What do you think about it? formal or plural

The small word en refers back to the thing you are talking about.
