Asking Someone’s Opinion
6.1.1. The Main Idea
To ask someone’s opinion in French, you can use penser, meaning to think.
Qu’est-ce que tu en penses ? | What do you think about it? |
Qu’est-ce que vous en pensez ? | What do you think about it? formal or plural |
The small word en refers back to the thing you are talking about.

In French, trouver can mean to find, but it can also mean to think / to find something a certain way.
