You will see greetings, names, feelings, goodbyes, numbers, days, months, articles, plural nouns, subject pronouns, and the verb être.

In French, nouns have gender and number.

Un is used with a masculine singular noun.

Une is used with a feminine singular noun.

Des is used with plural nouns.

Les means the before plural nouns.
